“ Decided to take a trip South from Cave Creek to try this highly regarded pizzeria and boy are we glad we did! Its was so good and fresh and made with care, we will be measuring all other pizza places against Base from here on out. I had a spinach salad as a starter then a lil pep pizza. My wife had the Base cheese and basil and she was delighted. I dont use rhat word loosely! ”
“ We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. Despite being quite busy on a Friday evening, we were able to get a table outside. Thankfully, the heaters worked perfectly, keeping the atmosphere warm and cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were generousperhaps a bit too much for us, as we couldnt manage dessert! This spot is a fantastic alternative to the overpriced and overly formal restaurants at the Arizona Biltmore. “ Amazing place! We know Dan outside of here and he told us to come in and Im so glad we did. The service was fabulous, the ambiance was very intimate and inviting, and the food was perfect! We are pizza lovers and they passed the test. We got two specialty pizzas, the Buffalo Bleu and the El Sabor, as well as the Brussels sprouts app and a Pear and Rocket salad. All were enjoyed by everyone. Candied pecans on the salad were delicious. The BEST part was the dessert. OH MY GOSH that sticky date cake is gold. Better than anything Ive ever had. The berry cobbler is the perfect sweet and tart contrast to the date cake. We will be back for more pizza, meatballs, and more date cakes! ”
